This is not a weight loss treatment, and we recommend a healthy lifestyle in addition to body sculpting for maximum long-lasting results.

You should not have CoolSculpting® Elite treatment on broken, irritated, or infected skin. You may not be a good candidate if you have a medical condition that makes your skin unusually sensitive to the cold. Only a consultation and review of your medical history can determine whether CoolSculpting® is safe for you.

What to Expect During CoolSculpting Elite®

Your New York Skin & Vein provider will apply the advanced CoolSculpting® Elite applicators to your skin in the area you want to treat. Your skin may feel cold or tingling as treatment begins. The area quickly becomes numb, allowing you to relax and even take a nap. Your treatment will usually last 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the area.

Is There Any Downtime After CoolSculpting Elite®?

You can leave your CoolSculpting® Elite treatment and return to your usual activities without delay. This treatment requires no downtime, letting you fit it into your busy schedule. Your skin may look red and swollen for a few hours to a few days. You may also notice some temporary tingling or numbness. None of these effects should limit your activities.

How Long Do CoolSculpting Elite® Results Last?

CoolSculpting® results develop gradually as your body’s lymphatic system removes damaged fat cells. You will usually see your full results within about three months. Most people only need one CoolSculpting® Elite treatment, but others need more to achieve their goals. Your CoolSculpting Elite® results can last a lifetime in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle. I came to see Dr. Dohner because my legs really ached, and I had a difficult time to put a sock on my left leg because of swelling and tender to the touch. He did an in office procedure to close my veins. I can now put my sock on with no problem. I walk a lot better and can climb stairs without them aching. It was great that I didn’t have to fast and could be awake during the procedure.
