Cellulite Treatment

Don’t Settle for Cellulite Dimples

Cellulite is the cottage cheese look on a woman’s thighs and buttocks giving a dimple-like appearance to the skin. Cellulite affects almost all women at some point in their lives. Only women develop cellulite due to the structural integrity of their connective tissue. If you’re looking to improve your overall appearance and feel more attractive in your own skin, you have options available:

  1. Z-Wave Cellulite treatments
  2. Subcision
  3. Radiesse Hyper dilute injections

(Please note that the company Endo that manufactured Qwo has pulled it from the market due to the severity of bruising and the potential for prolonged skin discoloration after the treatment).

How Do these Cellulite Treatments Work?

Z-Wave cellulite treatments are FDA-approved to use pulsed shock waves to break up cellulite without surgery or needles. The groundbreaking procedure targets pockets of cellulite and other causes of lumps and bumps in the skin. The energy penetrates the skin and smooths out the skin and fat for long-lasting results you’ll love.

Subcision is a minor in-office treatment that uses local anesthesia for your numbing. A small instrument is inserted under the skin to break up the fibers that are pulling down the skin which creates dimples. Usually, a single treatment will provide the results you want. You may have minor swelling and bruising after the procedure.

Radiesse Hyper dilute injections treat the more shallow divets that do not respond as well to subcision but can be combined with subcision in a single treatment.

Am I A Good Candidate?

If you’re looking to find a non-invasive solution to cellulite on the hips, thighs, or buttocks, then Z-Wave is for you. Patients who are otherwise healthy and at a healthy weight usually see better results. This works for more shallow, smaller cellulite dimples.

If your dimples are deeper and/or larger, then Subcision, with or without Radiesse Hyperdilute, is for you.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?

Each treatment session lasts approximately 20-60 minutes but can vary depending on the size of the area being treated. During Z-Wave therapy, a nurse uses a gel-coated probe to break up the cellulite. Many patients describe the treatment as feeling similar to a massage. Because it is a pain-free procedure, there is no need for topical anesthesia or pain relief during or after treatment.

With Subcision the dimples are marked out and then numbed with a lidocaine solution. The instrument is then painlessly inserted under the area to release the tethering. Radiesse may be injected at the same time to cellulite as well.

What Results Will I See?*

With Z-Wave you may begin to notice visible results after your first 2-3 treatment sessions. Optimal results can be seen after approximately 10 sessions. Your first few Z-Wave treatments should be spaced closer together for faster initial results. Afterward, weekly or monthly sessions are recommended until desired results are achieved. Through Z-Wave cellulite treatments, you will see improved blood circulation and a boost in collagen production in treated areas. Z-Wave assists with the regrowth of newer and healthier tissue, replacing the cellulite with visibly smoother and younger-looking skin without the dimples.

With Subcision you will see almost immediate improvement, but you will not have your final results for 3 to 6 months. Radiesse results can take longer depending on the severity of the cellulite.

Is There Any Downtime?*

Z-Wave is a non-invasive procedure with no reported pain or downtime. You can simply fit in an appointment during your regularly scheduled activities and resume your day as normal after the session is over. With Subcision you may have minor swelling and bruising after the procedure along with a bandage to the area for a few days.
