What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is an FDA-approved, non-surgical treatment that uses a special device to invigorate collagen and elastin production, as well as speed up cellular turnover.
Microneedling accomplishes those goals thanks to tiny stainless steel needles, which are placed at the end of an injector tool. When the device is powered on, the needles move at a rapid rate to quickly create micro-channels within the dermal tissue.
Once these micro-channels are created, they trigger your body’s wound-healing processes. Your body produces a surge of collagen and elastin to help heal the wounds (in fact, that’s what scar tissue is made of!). As a result, all the excess collagen and elastin helps firm up the skin and speed up cellular turnover…
And that leads to younger, healthier, and firmer skin!
You’re a good candidate for microneedling treatments if you want to treat signs of:
- Aging
- Hyperpigmentation
- Skin texture and tone
- Acne scarring
- Skin sagging
- And more
