Dr. Dohner’s specialty treatment, CoolSculpting® Elite, uses extreme cold to kill fat cells without harming the surrounding skin. The body flushes away these fat cells over a few weeks, and one to three treatments usually give people the full treatment results. CoolSculpting® Elite can work on most areas of the body where fat accumulates and is difficult to get rid of.
By stimulating collagen and elastin production, ThermiTight® causes the treated area to tighten. Increased collagen production leads to stronger and more resilient skin that resists sagging and feels tighter and more youthful. We often recommend this treatment for areas such as sagging necks or the abdominal area.
Using a combination of ultrasound and radiofrequency energy, the Exilis Ultra 360™ can cause intensive collagen remodeling and production. Not only can it combine body contouring and skin tightening into one procedure, but it also addresses the appearance of dimpled cellulite.

All of these treatments work at least in part by stimulating collagen production. Collagen, a structural protein, helps give our skin support and volume. However, it decreases with time. By rebuilding the collagen network under the skin, these treatments cause the skin to look more lifted and tightened.
Some of these treatments also break down fat cells using energy that disrupts them without doing any harm to surrounding skin cells. When this occurs, the body filters away the fat cells, and they do not grow back.
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the cost of body contouring can vary widely depending on your location, the type of equipment, the length of the procedure, and other factors. A course of treatments may range from $1600 to $4200. You may need a different type or a number of treatments, and you may wish to have larger or smaller areas treated. Each type of treatment has its own associated costs.
Since all four of these procedures use non-invasive techniques that cause no damage to the skin, almost anyone is a good candidate for at least one of them. Candidates must have reasonable expectations and understand that body sculpting is not a weight loss procedure.
