Treatment time depends largely on the area you’re looking to improve. When we predict treatment length, we look at the size of the area, the desired outcome, and the severity of the issue. While treatments on smaller areas can take 15 minutes, treating the whole face will take upwards of an hour. The treatment feels like a rubber band snack with no discomfort afterward. We offer you a numbing cream and cold air blown onto the face to make it perfectly comfortable. The tip of the laser that touches the skin is also chilled to keep you pain-free.

Patients that undergo Exce® V treatments report feeling more confident in their appearance and have to wear much less (if any) makeup. Typical outcomes include better clearer skin, fading of brown spots, the disappearance of broken capillaries, improved skin texture, and tone. Desired results are typically reached within 1month. Depending on the desired outcome, patients may need anywhere from 1-5 treatments. You will most likely return annually for a single treatment to maintain the improvement in your complexion.

Downtime for the Excel® V is minimal, making it an ideal “weekend treatment.” Depending on your particular treatment, you may experience 1-2 days of redness, bruising, and slight swelling. Aftercare includes avoiding direct sunlight and wearing sunscreen after your procedure. Most patients are able to return to work the next day.
